hi you need to wait for google to update your meta description. this might take some time. also if you use YOAST you need to set your frontpage in "settings" -> "reading" make sure the same frontpage is set in customize -> frontpage now when editing that page make sure the correct meta description is in there I believe these instructions are also in a notification I added to lay theme in either "plugins" or "lay options" when yoast is activated also the website description meta tag that your screenshot shows will not be in use if you have yoast activated to prevent duplicate meta tags. you'll have to do the above and enter the text of your screenshot to the yoast meta tag of your frontpage.
