if you want some/all of your images to be fullscreen, use the fullscreen slider addon and use row background images for fullscreen images in the rows, use browser height for row height and in every row, put your caption in the bottom left. because with the fullscreen slider, every row is a slide if you just want a normal carousel and the caption / number be stuck to the bottom left / right corner of your screen do this: http://laythemeforum.com/topic/10172/changing-the-position-of-numbers-and-title-of-carousel/3

Oops I see my 1st message missed a part. I forgot to add I'd like to change the font family, to a more bold one of the same family, I tried your custom code with the font family code but it doesn't work.
