    ah you can always find the lay.zip file on laykeymanager.com ! just activate lay theme and your site should be back i think i answered you yesterday or the day before by email. sorry for being slow! :O

    Your customized Lay Theme doesn't work properly any more after updating? You can use the old version of Lay Theme if you like.

    Thanks Armin. I already asked ChatGPT and it gave me this code, which works - the attributes are inserted within the <SVG id> section. Changed it using textedit.     This works great for text elements only. Is it possible to make this work to stack elements e.g. I use an image and text element within a stack (stack has rounded corners) or multiple text elements below themselves. It is possible to do a workaround with two rows and paddings.

    hey if you update lay theme now, please go to lay options. then in the compatibility section, enable: "Enable Smart Loading for HTML and Shortcode Elements" [image: 1777832709309-bildschirmfoto-2026-05-03-um-20.25.04.png] let me know if that worked for you <3

    hey, no, it's not possible so you would like to have a dropdown? I don't know, maybe you could even try to create a submenu and then just put the language switcher inside of the submenu. In the Lay Theme documentation, you can see how to build a submenu. Actually, I never tried that, but it just comes to mind now.

    hey Chris you could insert a stack element and give the stack element a background color, and then you can put anything you want inside of it and size it any way you like.

    Hi Armin Thanks for the quick answer :) Yes, everything ist turned on correctly, I tried to turn it off and on once again, but it's still not working. If turned off, the underline vanishes all together (which is correct), so it does something. The same with custom code. I'll send you a Mail.

    ok so the button menu style is released. you can configure it right where you also turned on the pill menu style in the customizer that should work better for wocoommerce sites!

    or try this: hey, lay theme has a built-in layout cache that probably holds the old category version. try this: in wp-admin go to Lay Options ā†’ extra features ā†’ disable "Layout Cache" also flush any hosting-level page cache or cdn while youre at it. if that doesnt fix it, can you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com?

Before you post:
  1. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
  2. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
  3. Disable all Plugins
  4. Go to Lay Options ā†’ Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

This often solves issues you might run into

When you post:
  1. Post a link to where the problem is
  2. Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
  3. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
