    they just put text next to the project thumbnail in the gridder and they used project thumbnail mouseover settings in the customizer

    And is it possible to place a socialmedia icon freely? mmh not sure how can i add a Mailto-Link? i think if you add a text, then in the texteditor click the "link" button, then as the link enter: mailto:hey@mail.com

    hey i dont see a close button on your website lay theme only has built-in close buttons for overlays: https://laytheme.com/documentation/overlays.html how about you use an overlay for your about page?

    yes it will be deleted use a backup plugin like duplicator https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/ and create a backup of your website. then you'll get a zip file and installer.php file afterwards your webhost can take down your website and you still have your website's content backed up

    so the issue was in the language setting, the default language that the website is shown in must be set correctly: [image: 1707139922249-screenshot-2024-02-05-at-14.29.10.png] its not enough to just go to customize → frontpage and set the translated page as a frontpage, because the menu will be using the default language set in [image: 1707139972423-screenshot-2024-02-05-at-14.32.48.png]

Before you post:
  1. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
  2. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
  3. Disable all Plugins
  4. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

This often solves issues you might run into

When you post:
  1. Post a link to where the problem is
  2. Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
  3. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
