    Hey, I was just wondering if it is possible (maybe someone is on it already) to have buttons as button html elements in the future? For accessibility this is very important, together with proper naming of the elements, but that we can do easily by hand. At the moment, when we select a button style it just stays a link <a> element.

    Also to use the page per keyboard so especially for hover actions or "active" points it would be great to have layout options, etc.

    For now I am sure I'll find a way around it, but it would help a lot :)
    Or did I miss a function where this is already possible?

    Have a good day

      hey!! having anchor tags for buttons that are links is semantically correct.

      buttons are only meant for user interactions like in a web application

      i think you just want to have a visual indication for which button/link is "focused" when pressing tab.

      it doesn't matter if its a <button> or <a> tag. you can still have tab-enabled links/buttons that show a focused state visually, by using CSS!!

      just paste this into lay options -> custom css & html -> CUstom CSS:

      :where(
        a,
        button,
        input,
        select,
        textarea,
        summary,
        [role="button"],
        [tabindex]:not([tabindex="-1"])
      ):focus-visible {
        outline: 3px solid #0066ff !important;
        outline-offset: 4px;
      }
