Carousel swipe responsiveness on mobile

I think the swipeable carousel on mobile could use a little less activation distance to make it a bit more snappy. Compared to Instagram you sort of have to swipe your finger across the whole width of the screen.

Actually I have just tried it again and it feels a lot more responsive... weird

Yea this is a new issue that came up with the latest iOS. Unfortunately I couldn't find a solution yet.
