Variations swatches plugin conflict with lay theme
-
Hey all! I’m trying to switch the drop down attributes/ variables to variations swatches. After trying to deactivated all plug ins it seems that the conflict is created by lay theme itself. When I switch to another theme variations swatches are appearing. Any idea how to keep lay theme and make variations swatches plug in works ?

I will not use variations for colors. I don't find a good solution to get Size + Colors, when you pick-up a color: images do not change (when I put different images for each) and the text of the material is not the same so I prefer to create different product for each. I just use the small description as "Available in Color 1, Color 2, Color 3" with custom link directly point on the other color product. It is the best way I found to get something coherent. Third point, I used a plugin who duplicate in the product grid all variations (without the parent) but when you click on the Color 2 in the gridder, the first image is the image of parent product.
So I changed the order of Single product elements order in customize like this :
Breadcrumbs
Title
Short Description
Description out of Tabs
Price
Variations (Size) + Add to basket
Tabs (I added Shipping + Size guide with the plugin of adding tables)And I hide with CSS .Stock because I have always "In stock"
Idea > Maybe we can add the image hover links for links in short description, so when you hover color 1, 2 or other you can see a picture of the variation product.
I also code custom websites or custom Lay features.
