Carousels not showing and can't update

Hello,
I had to reinstall and redo my website from scratch and now the carousels aren't working. When I add a carousel to the gridder, it shows as a blank space on the page.The files I have are from 2020 so I'm sure they need an update, but on the plugins page there's no button to update this specific plugin. When I click "check for updates" I get a notification saying "A new version of this plugin is available." but no button to actually update.
Can you please help?

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options ā Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
