    are u using the latest version of lay theme? there was a bug that came up after a new version of wordpress. news elements and projectindex elements didnt have the right order sometimes. i fixed this with a lay theme update. always make sure to do the steps as outlined in the cyan box to the right but of course maybe this could be a different issue, let me know if updating lay theme fixes this

    yea its weird mmh, so i changed two small things now, so maybe with the next lay theme update this wont happen anymore

    categories dont show up in website

    yea thats weird! how about you create pages instead of categories? if i do new categories, they dont show up on my website. what you mean is probably: you create a new category, put content into the category's gridder, and then view the category and nothing shows up no? can you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com?

Before you post:
  1. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
  2. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
  3. Disable all Plugins
  4. Go to Lay Options ā†’ Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

This often solves issues you might run into

When you post:
  1. Post a link to where the problem is
  2. Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
  3. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
