    hey steve, I'm not sure if i see a different website because I'm not logged in or something like that, but as I mentioned in other posts it seems that the website you are referencing doesn't have lay theme installed from my point of view. This is what i see: [image: upload-b3376591-d5a5-4fa0-bd32-dc843ce64cb8.png] For doing style changes it's best to use the fields in "Lay Options" -> "Custom CSS and HTML" There you have the fields "custom css for desktop" and "custom css for phone". If you want to create a style that applies to both desktop and phone you could add your style in a <style> tag like this to the field "Custom <head> content": <style> .hello{ opacity: 0.5; } </style> I'm not sure what you did with the original style.css file but if you delete the first few lines of that file the theme will probably not work right because in those lines there's vital info about the theme like name, version etc. (that's standardized by wordpress)

    hey, your website does not seem to be made with lay theme. the name of your theme seems to be "sensible-wp" plugins that use shortcodes don't work for lay theme at the moment

    Good idea! Right now that's not possible. Maybe the cover feature can be interesting for that? It's not quite the same but it's also an introduction to your project. http://laytheme.com/documentation.html#covers

    Do you mean on project thumbnails? You can use this css in "Lay Options" -> "Custom CSS": .title{ transform: rotate(90deg); -webkit-transform: rotate(90deg); }

    Hey, maybe a good solution for you is to use the max-width option in "lay options" -> "Max width of content" Does that help? I'm afraid there is no other option for something like that.

    Hey Sascha! Yea, what you want is not easily possible at the moment :/ I'm writing this down and gonna think about how to best solve this Yea fullscreen slider doesn't have a fade option. But right now that's the closest you can get with your idea. Maybe it would be enough if the fullscreen slider addon had a fade option.

    Hey carpetfiber101! Thx! With lay theme you can configure the image quality in "lay options" -> "misc options" -> "Image Quality (.jpeg)" By default it's "90". Lay Theme generates different sizes of your image and shows the right size for the situation, meaning for example on a small phone it won't load a big desktop image, but a smaller version. Also there is an option "Never show resized versions of your images". With that activated, only the original image that you uploaded will be used/shown.

Before you post:
  1. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
  2. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
  3. Disable all Plugins
  4. Go to Lay Options ā†’ Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

This often solves issues you might run into

When you post:
  1. Post a link to where the problem is
  2. Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
  3. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
