hey steve, I'm not sure if i see a different website because I'm not logged in or something like that, but as I mentioned in other posts it seems that the website you are referencing doesn't have lay theme installed from my point of view. This is what i see: [image: Screen Shot 2016-07-18 at 15.48.12.png] For doing style changes it's best to use the fields in "Lay Options" -> "Custom CSS and HTML" There you have the fields "custom css for desktop" and "custom css for phone". If you want to create a style that applies to both desktop and phone you could add your style in a <style> tag like this to the field "Custom <head> content": <style> .hello{ opacity: 0.5; } </style> I'm not sure what you did with the original style.css file but if you delete the first few lines of that file the theme will probably not work right because in those lines there's vital info about the theme like name, version etc. (that's standardized by wordpress)

hey, your website does not seem to be made with lay theme. the name of your theme seems to be "sensible-wp" plugins that use shortcodes don't work for lay theme at the moment

Hey, maybe a good solution for you is to use the max-width option in "lay options" -> "Max width of content" Does that help? I'm afraid there is no other option for something like that.

But right now that's the closest you can get with your idea. Maybe it would be enough if the fullscreen slider addon had a fade option.

Hey carpetfiber101! Thx! With lay theme you can configure the image quality in "lay options" -> "misc options" -> "Image Quality (.jpeg)" By default it's "90". Lay Theme generates different sizes of your image and shows the right size for the situation, meaning for example on a small phone it won't load a big desktop image, but a smaller version. Also there is an option "Never show resized versions of your images". With that activated, only the original image that you uploaded will be used/shown.

Thanks! :) That should work yes. For example you can change the fontsize of the "default" textformat. Please note this won't work if you have applied a fontsize to a text directly in the texteditor.
