Hi Armin I just wrote you an email. Problem seems to be solved. The link to the background image was broken. The text overlay needs a background image, otherwise it will not show! Probably could have noticed that before 🤦🏼 Thanks for asking anyway.

use these settings in customize → menu styles → submenus [image: 1663092955676-screenshot-2022-09-13-at-20.15.17.png] also remove your custom jquery code for submenus that richard posted here

yes you need to have woocommerce disabled, use no shortcodes on your frontpage and have lay options → disable ajax NOT enabled

hey! there are no cookies being used except for when you use woocommerce, for the cart. when this option is activated in lay options → carousel addon apparently the youtube script creates a cookie, not sure what it is for, it is by youtube: [image: 1661793261158-screenshot-2022-08-29-at-19.13.32.png] no data is being tracked i just checked and with only lay theme active and its plugins/addons active, there are no cookies being created at all
