I'm thinking to buy to get the fullscreen slider addon and I'm not sure if it will work with scrolling content, not just images.

I think it is not really possible to achieve this "slide-deck" effect.
LayTheme is using this library in the background:

You can have a look there what might be possible.
But of yourse you can slide any kind of content. Not only images.
