responsive bottom menu?

Howdy!
I have my menu anchored to the bottom. But i'm trying to figure out how to apply padding in between the buttons that is responsive when adjusting the browser width. Does this need custom CSS?

Here's the home page! If you adjust the browser width - the menu gets cut off. I'm also looking to add a background color the the bottom menu. Is that possible?

Dear @ii
your font size and navigation bar get calculated in a different way.
I recommend to use CUSTOMCSS to have the height of the bar in relation to the window-width. (CCS: vw)
