Where is the template for the projects page? Can I edit it to create a custom structure i.e. a template for every project page?

I want to have a basic templatized structure for every project. How can I do this?

Is it using the index.php file to render all the pages? Including the home page and projects page? What is the attachment.php file?

Would it suit to use JSON and create a basic project layout? then for any new project you could just past your Basic JSON code and get the setup.
