image-hover not working

Hello,
I have installed all of the updates needed and I can see the image-hover modal however, when I add an image and link it to a projet (+ save) the hover effect is not working there is no image appearing.
I have access to the addon options and everything seems ok. I don't understand where the problem is from

Thanks !@romanecmoisan edit: we tried to deactivate and reactivate laytheme and now even the image-hover modal does not show up

Sorry that you are experiencing trouble, could you please confirm the following as these are the most common reasons:
Wordpress, Lay Theme & Laytheme's Addons are all up to date ?
Any custom CSS or JS that may interfere is temporarily removed.
Any third-party plugins are de-activated to see if this resolves the issue.

I've check everything and can't seem to find where is the problem coming from, wordpress and laytheme are updated, I do not have any custom CSS/JS and I've deactivated my other plugins. -
