Updating Laytheme

Hello Laytheme forum!
I have version 3.6.9 installed and need to update to 4.4.6.
I've tried to search online but found no answer to my question yet.
If I update will I loose custom changes since Laytheme doesn't use child themes?

oh maybe make a backup before u update with a backup plugin!
