Website (with logo) loads very slowly

Dear @Richard,
we built a new website with Laytheme and using a logo as a background image. The JPEG is very small, we tried PNG etc. but once the logo is uploaded, the website loads very slowly in all common browsers.
This is the website: https://chimaeren-verlag.de/
Do you have an idea whats the trouble here?
Many thanks and all best wishes
Daniel
