IMAGEHOVER DOESN'T WORK

I have installed the imagehover addon but I can't get it to work, it installs correctly and I have everything updated, but when I want to perform the action, the panel to do so does not appear and the console throws this error:

ok so from looking at your appearence -> themes section
i can see u have 3 lay themes installed
this javascript error means your lay theme installation is too old
when you use a child theme and it has all the old files, this wont work
lay theme is not really child theme compatibleyou may want to delete all the different lay themes and then install the latest one
