project Thumbnail as link to other page

Hi there!
Wondering if it's possible to have the thumbnail working as a button for other individual links, instead of dedicated projects?
I have tried to set the thumbnail-linked project link as the same as the individual page I want to connect, but weirdly they don't land at the same position. (Even though they have the same link)
Wondering if anyone has a workaround? Thanks in advance!

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options ā Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
