Possible to have something on top of the overlay layer?

Good morning! Is it possible to have something stay on top of the project overlay? I have a text and a menu there to stay on top. I made the text and menu fixed on the left and made the z-index like: 99999. I tried to make the overlay Z-index 8. But this is not working so far. I gues it is J Script? Thank you and best regards.

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options ā Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
