Best Hosting Service for video work

Hi guys,

I’m currently moving away from Vimeo, unfortunately the usability and pricing have gotten a bit out of hand for me.

YouTube isn’t really an option either because of the nature of my commercial work. Licensing becomes an issue when uploading my content there.

So I’m thinking about using the internal Laytheme player, which looks really great by the way! I’m just not sure what the best way would be to ensure fast and reliable video delivery/streaming.

Uploading lots of video files directly to my server probably isn’t the best solution, right? The maximum file size currently seems to be 50 MB anyway, and I’m not sure how to change that.

So I’m looking for a reliable video hosting or streaming service to integrate with my site.

Any ideas or experiences you could share?

you can basically upload videos there and then use the .mp4 or hls URLs for your mp4 videos on lay theme

i'll actually need to check if hls works with lay theme. apparently it needs some extra work, but should work already in safari and ios

but mp4s should work already
