Safari does not start muted background videos

Hi there,

Safari does not start muted background videos automatically anymore after update of OS.
Is there a solution for this? Unfortunately, you cannot specify the video tags for background videos yourself.

Hi Armin, thanks a lot for reply. The problem doesn't occur on all computers. I'll double-check the OS and Safari versions and let you know.

you know what this could be.
newer versions of mac have the low power mode, similar to iphones.
when this is on, macs dont autoplay web videos.
nothing you can do here except turn off low power mode.
