Carousel random order on every page load

hey!
in a carousel slideshow with “random order” enabled, is there a way to make the slide order reshuffle on every page load? right now it randomizes once and then stays fixed until i update the page again. i’d also like the starting image to be different each time.

update: on https://balazsdanyi.com the image-based carousel now starts with different slides correctly.

however, on https://vzt.hu the fullscreen carousel contains only videos, and even with “random order” enabled it always starts with the same video after refresh.

is there any workaround to randomize the first video as well?

I think they don't randomize because of caching. Can you go to Lay Options, then search for cache, and then disable "Layout Cache" ?

This will make your site load a little slower, though.

let me think about if I can find a workaround so it will work with caching too. Probably I would have to do the randomized functionality by using JavaScript instead of PHP so it doesn't render my server-side, but clientside

disable chaching is a working solution, thanks! but if you will solve this with caching enabled i would be very happy.

I will release a Carousel Add-on update that should fix this with caching enabled.
