mouseover on mobile not working

hi! sorry i was too impatient and changed it back.

but i just activated it again, so you can see it.

i am on safari as well, but checked chrome and firefox and both are not working either.

its behaving reallly weird and buggy. i just checked it again today and now all videos are playing, and once i hovered over them they stop playing. somehow every day its different idk

edit: now not anymore. but mobile still not working.

would really appreciate an answer since i want to change the website back to the working version, but i also want you to see the bug.
just let me know if you checked it so i can reverse it.

hmm seems to be an issue with lay themes caching. i will code a fix for this for the next update. meanwhile you can try and turn off "layout cache" in lay options. and see if it works then.

if after the next update, it still wont work please send your /wp-admin/ login info and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com and then i will check it out more

already tried turning off layout cache, but then all thumbnails just keep playing and the hover doesn't work at all.

thanks a lot! works well so far in my case. but i think the overall time to load the thumbnails a first time got way worse now.

whats still not working i think are the different functionalities "Behaviour on Mobile Devices". at least on my site its always just playing the thumbnail videos immediately, but for me thats fine.

in Lay Options, can you please enable video lazy loading and then also make sure the setting is enabled where it makes videos also lazy load on Safari?

For the next update, I'm preparing the functionality where the mouseover videos will also be lazy loaded when those settings are on.

Also, I will fix an issue where videos sometimes would be requested over HTTP instead of HTTPS on your site.

Then we will take a look and see how much loading has improved.

And then afterwards, we could think about using Bunny CDN, using videos hosted there, and also using HLS, which would load smaller videos for smaller screen sizes.
And Bunny CDN will, in general, load videos faster too because of their servers.

yes i'll keep bunny hosting in mind, i just wanted to see how well it works with all videos converted to webm and reduced filesizes.
