Temporary homepage

Hi there,

Is it possible with Lay theme for me to create a temporary homepage, with no menu items, whilst I work on the full site design privately with menu items, pages, posts categories etc?

I envisage using the carousel add-0n on the temporary homepage, with a slideshow of images, giving visitors a snapshot of what's to come once the full site design is complete and ready to go live.

what you can do is to make a page and then hide the menu via CUSTOM CSS.

.slug-YOURPAGE . primary {
display: none;
}

In the example below you can see in the BODY tag the class home:
