Bug: Carousel & captions with background

Hi there,
I'm encoutering some bugs using the Carousel Addons:
My goal is to have a website with a single carousel, hovering the central part the captions disappear to let the basic info appear and vice versa. A working overview is available here. I'm using some custom code to achieve the effects as shown below:

While on this page the captions flips up and we lost the hover controls allowed by the carousel to navigate through. The problem is probably due to the amount of slides and captions, any idea on how to resolve?

hey but this is more of a bug with your custom code instead of with lay theme no?

as you can see here:

the captions-inner container is translated to show the next caption

so maybe your css is in conflict with this?
does everything look normal if you turn off ur custom code?

if you'd like me to fix your custom code to work properly with this i can do it for 90€ per hour + VAT
maybe needs 1 hour
