switch views on a overlay menu

Hey there,
I am currently working on my new website and I have run into the following problem: I use an overlay page as a menu, in which I have a list of all my projects. Now, I want a button or some text that switches the presentation to a project grid, but keeps the half-frame overlay page. Is this currently possible with Laytheme? thanks for all your help!

@fesch hey, you could probably achieve this using the 'expand/collapse row' feature within your overlay page.

i havent added the expand collapse feature yet to the docs :(

could be used as a workaround, but what you want is not available in lay theme currently

but im writing it down as a idea
