    Hey,

I have a problem with the category function. I created a category "work" and added a thumbnail grid. I kept an old version of this category as a backup and renamed it, but did not use it anymore. Now, when I load the main page and navigate to the current "work" category via the menu, it does not show the "work" category thumbnail grid, but instead the old version of the category.

When I refresh the website, it loads the new (proper) category. I have now deleted the old category, but it still happens. I tried emptying the layout cache, but that doesn't help.

Any idea what else I can try?

    Thank you so much!
    Andreas

maybe the wrong page is loaded. can you delete the old page? or use this "copy to page" button to have a "backup" of it

mostly things like this happen if two pages have the same URL/permalink

and then it doesnt know sometimes which one to load

        or try this:

hey, lay theme has a built-in layout cache that probably holds the old category version. try this: in wp-admin go to Lay Options → extra features → disable "Layout Cache"

also flush any hosting-level page cache or cdn while youre at it.

if that doesnt fix it, can you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com?
