Project Overlay + Carousel / Lightbox issue on direct URL load

Hi,
I have an issue with project overlay + carousel/lightbox on two very similar websites.
Structure on both:

Works page → project overview
Projects open as overlay from the Works page
Problem: If I open the project directly via URL:

On https://balazsdanyi.com/works/:
carousel gallery does not load
when closing the project overlay, the Works page does not appear until a manual page refresh

On https://vzt.hu/works/:
clicking on images does not open the lightbox gallery
going back to the Works page also only works after a page refresh

If I open a project from the Works page, everything works correctly on both sites.

oh, thanks for the heads up. Yeah, I recently coded it, so on direct load or refresh of a project, it will still be visible as a project overlay instead of just a normal project. The lightbox add-on is getting confused with that. I'm going to fix it now and release the update today or tomorrow. Sorry about this happening.

the Carousel add-on was probably an issue related to that. This will be fixed too with the next update.

thanks Armin for the quick fix! with the last update the carousel loads properly and the lightbox is also working fine.

there is still one remaining issue though:
if I open a project directly via url, then close the overlay project, the Works page still does not appear automatically. the page stays blank until I manually refresh the browser. i also tried changing the “Page to show under direct-loaded project overlays” setting to other page, but it didn’t help. this still happens on both sites.

well, I can't really reproduce this on your site because I guess there are just some website coming soon pages.

Please post the exact project URL where I can test this.

maybe it had to do with the cache not clearing automatically after lay theme updates.
You could try to update again now and see if it works then.

You can also send the URL to the page where it doesn't work to info@laytheme.com

But please make sure to send a link to this topic too for context.

when opened directly, if i close the overlay, the projects overlay page, https://balazsdanyi.com/works/ and https://vzt.hu/works/ does not load automatically — the page stays blank until i manually refresh the browser. if i open the same project from the Works page, then closing the overlay correctly. i tested this in chrome, firefox and edge as well. layout cache is disabled.
i also updated to version 11.0.7 now, but unfortunately the issue is still there.

yeah, see, it only happens when you have the project overlay animation set to none instead of fade or slide. Interesting, yeah, I'm fixing it right now.

i just tested it and it's working perfectly now on both websites!
thanks for the fix, and for the excellent support you provide for Lay Theme.
hope your neck is doing better, and no worries about the delay, it wasn't urgent.

yes sometimes i do support every day or every other day,
but sometimes it can take a week or more when im super busy with coding new lay theme features and working on client projects. i always feel bad about letting people wait that long :O but im glad it wasnt urgent in your case
