Fullscreen Slider and Footer not working at all on IE (Internet Explorer; 11)

Hey there!

We just noticed the other day that on IE the fullscreen slider which should be on starting page does not work (instead you can scroll down as normal) and the footer is not shown at all.
Does anyone know why and can give quick first aid? Since we placed a link to the newly required DSGVO in the footer it would be really important to fix this issue,
