Sitetitle stopped working as link

the sitetitle of one of my pages just stopped working as a link. The homepage is online already for quite some time. yesterday i got a call that the sitetitle is not leading back to the categories page anymore. in fact it is not working as a link anymore at all. if i look at the code it still shows the link though.

i got a little bit of a clue about coding but i don't get the problem here. also really weird that it just stopped working one day to the other.

Probably you put a box above it with CUSTOM CSS or something like that.

not that i know. as i said. it was working fine and just stopped working all of a sudden.

this is strange.
Can you press SAVE in the settings for permalinks.
Sometimes building up the links in Wordpress can help in those cases.

i dont understand the issue at all. espacially because it just stopped working all of a sudden without me or the hoster doing anything.

Jep. Just how laytheme is build. link back to category "work". This is what the sitetitle is meant to do by default or not?

Any suggestions? It has nothing to do with anything i did because i literally wasn't doing anything on the page in the past month. what could be the problem?
