Smaller image size since V3?

Hi,
since the update I noticed that the images displayed in different browers/displays are smaller resized versions than before the update. I really liked the sizes Laytheme chose before the update, the new sizes are too small in my opinion.
Is there any way back to the old choice of sizes? I don't want to use "Never show resized versions of your images" - I just want bigger resized versions than now.... Images that are smaller in the grid are now smaller in dimension, which means they are too small in Lightbox. Before the update all images where the same size, no matter how large they were in the layout.
