Password protection not working + website description not working

Hi,

Since I've download the latest Wordpress version I have 2 problems:
- Protected project by password are not working anymore.
- I can't change my website description on Google. It says: "home made with Lay Theme" even with YOAST plug in.

Dear @MarieP

When you temporarily de-activate Yoast do the the problems go away?
- Wordpress, Lay Theme & Laytheme's Addons are all up to date?
- Any Custom CSS or JS that may interfere is temporarily removed.
- And third-party plugins de-activated to see if this resolves the issue.
