Make Text in Carousel Text Slides Selectable

Is there a way to make the text in carousel text slides selectable?

Dear Elias @eh

The Carousel is set up that way so that clicking a slide controls it's functionality - if you were able to select text ( click on the slide ) then how would you make the Carousel function properly?

Just curious! :)
