Images being removed when deleting id tag

Dear Armin and crew

I experience that each time I press the delete button while setting an id on an image, the image is being removed.

So each time I delete an id, it automatic deletes the object also.

It's really getting on my nerves. Havn't experienced this in older versions?
Can it be fixed?🙏
