Background videos embed

Hello @Richard & @arminunruh,
I'm wondering if in the future it might be possible to embed background videos as well?

Even though I followed the advices on the documentation site for the background videos they are still quite large and I think they slow down my site.
Would be great to solve this by being able to just embed background videos instead of having to upload them.
