Lightbox doesn't show correctly in the gridder although everything is set in the menu

Hallo, I installed Lightbox Addon and although I put every detail as it says, it doesn't show any Lightbox option in the gridder.
When I click on "Show a checkbox in the Project Edit Screen to turn on the Lightbox for individual Projects" (for projects or pages) it doesn't show at all in the grinder. And when I click on "Active for all Projects" (for projects or pages) I at least can see "Edit Lightbox caption" in the dropdown menu. When I click on it, I only can type in a text, that's all! And the Lightbox is still not active! So what's the problem? I checked the categories and allowed Lightbox. Is there any hidden thing I have to allowed or check?? Please help me!!

Its hard to say without knowing further your setup - maybe you could take some screenshots of these situations for a better idea 🔍

Please make sure of the following when trying to resolve the issue:

Wordpress, Lay Theme & Laytheme's Addons are all up to date ?

Any custom CSS or JS that may interfere is temporarily removed.

Any third-party plugins are de-activated to see if this resolves the issue.

Hey,
I all my Addons and Wordpress are updated. I checked.

Then I deactivated all the plugins. But it doesn't make any difference, when I try to use the Lightbox add-on.

My custom CSS or JS was made by someone else and is only for the text appearance, I think... actually I am not very good at CSS.![alt text

So here are some screenshots.

1. when I clicked on "Show a checkbox in the Project Edit Screen to turn on the Lightbox for individual Projects". I don't see the Lightbox in the dropdown menu!

2. so I changed it to "active for all" projects or pages. And then I at least can see the Lightbox in the dropdown menu!! But here I can only open a textbox and say "OK", but the pictures don't

So I can also make sceenshots from the CSS but which text field is interesting for that? And what could be the problem? I feel like the Lightbox Addon is active to use but blocked to really make the pictures pop up. Hope you can help me!

Thanks for the screenshots! sorry that your having this problem - interesting as it seems everything in the Addon options is normal.

Could you send me your login details via 'chats' ? i can then login and have a real close look and try to solve the problem properly, I will need to take a look at this custom JS. ( please note: do not disclose your personal login details on the thread itself 🌝)

Also to be sure - are you using a free version of Lay Theme? (sometimes this happens - the free version from years ago is not supported anymore will modern updates )
