Project thumbnail direct into lightbox

Re: show from project overview more project images via lightbox
Hi,
I noticed a lot of posts on this from a few years ago so Iโd like to see if it is possible now.
Can I open my projects on my project thumbnails directly into a lightbox? Iโve seen it done on photography websites before. Where each image is displayed in a lightbox and opened directly from the project thumbnail on a project overview. To scroll through each individual picture from the project(inside the lightbox). I canโt find a way at the moment to bypass the project page straight into the lightbox. Anybody know about this?

Dear @Garrod
Not possible with current options sorry & would need to be custom coded - It's a really good idea though so i'm putting into development notes.
I see Armin mentioning the use of Carousel's to get a similar result, and from there creating a further link to the project.
Best wishes Garrod & talk soon ๐

@Garrod I would say "medium" not truly simple.
It would require asking for & loading content from the project or page, the easy part will be displaying and styling the content once you have it.
Best wishes
