Remove Favicon

Hi there, I was wondering if is it possible remove the favicon from Lay Theme. I mean is there a possibility to do not show it on the browser's tab?
I'd like to have just the page's name on the tabPerhaps like editing the theme?

@metapublishing Hi did it work for you? When I remove the current favicon it just shows the standard wordpress logo for me.
