X-button (close) on category page
-
Hi. I hope you or anyone can help me. Unfortunately I didn't find a solution on the previous questions about x-buttons.
On my front page I show a lot of projects which you can check after clicking the thumbnai of that project. then you come to a page where you can see an overview of all the project images. On that side should be the possibility to close that project (x-button) and jump back to the place where you have been before on the front page. Is that possible? Here is the site: http://s522515773.online.de/
Thank you in advance,
Alex -
css:
.close-back{ position: fixed; top: 200px; right: 20px; z-index: 10; } /* on frontpage the close-back element is hidden */ body.slug-recent-work .close-back{ display: none; }svg from: https://heroicons.com/
html:
<a href="http://s522515773.online.de/" data-type="category" data-id="1" data-title"Alex Becker Photography" class="close-back"> <svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" fill="none" viewBox="0 0 24 24" stroke-width="1.5" stroke="currentColor" class="w-6 h-6"> <path stroke-linecap="round" stroke-linejoin="round" d="M6 18L18 6M6 6l12 12" /> </svg> </a>to be put in lay options -> custom css & html
hope this leads you into the right direction

@arminunruh Thanks a lot for you quick reply. Unfortunately I get a message in the html field after I copied your solution: "Invalid character in attribute name. Start tag seen without seeing a doctype first.."
Well, I´ve no idea.. -

the css goes into
"custom css for desktop version"
and the html goes into
"html at bottom"

Hi Armin, thanks for your help, but unfortunately the code doesn't work. I'll use a simple back-button..
Another question is, if it's possible to have a project title on an auto-play-video if the curser goes over it like on a project thumbnail. Or should I open a new topic.
Cheers, Alex
