the next update will include a setting in Lay Options - Project Overlays.
Where you can disable project overlays for touch devices next to the checkbox that disables them for Instagram browsersAbout page overlays, I'm not so sure yet, because page overlays are often used for burger menus and page overlays also have this option to pre-open, to have them pre-opened when you visit the site. I'm not sure if that setting would make sense for page overlays. Also, it would be kinda hard to code because we got these exceptions.
But let me know if you meant page overlays.

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
