Hey, probably the issue is he was using both a desktop layout and a custom phone layout on the same page while inserting the same short code. You could just not use the custom phone layout, or create two different maps with two different shortcodes and insert one in the desktop layout and one in the phone layout. Maybe it has to do with this. Because the thing is, if you create a desktop layout and a custom phone layout, those are two different markups that exist on the same page. Now, when you insert a shortcode, some plugins don't really output their content twice when you use the same shortcode twice on the same page. This could be an issue with the plugin's JavaScript where the plugin author simply didn't account for this possibility.

Hey, SVG colors can only be changed if you insert the SVG code into your website and style the SVG with CSS. It's not possible if you just insert the SVG as an image tag like <img src= This is just a general HTML and SVG restriction. It's nothing to do with Lay Theme specifically.

Hey there. I removed the Theme file editor because I don't want people to change the code of Lay Theme. Those changes are overwritten anyway when you update Lay Theme. If you really want to change the code of Lay Theme, you can use FTP to access the Theme folder and change the files there.

Hey. Okay, that's weird. can you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com? I did do some changes to move the project thumbnail box more to the top. Because on a fresh Lay Theme install, the project thumbnail box is really low on the screen and people have to scroll to see it, which confuses people because you need to set a project thumbnail in order to be able to save the project and publish it. Could I please take a look at your WordPress admin panel to see what's going on there and to fix the issue for you? can you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com? Sorry about the issue.

[image: 1746955719252-screenshot-2025-05-11-at-11.28.34.png] Hey, when I have these settings as you can see above, I have to click to slide. Do you mean you want to be able to still click to slide when you have the drag setting enabled here? [image: 1746955781746-screenshot-2025-05-11-at-11.29.38.png] When free drag is enabled, clicking to slide doesn't work yea. UX wise it is kind of weird to see your cursor transform into an arrow, but you cannot click, if you have slide enabled. As far as i can tell when the free drag setting is on, your mouse cursor is always the drag cursor. If that's not the case for you, do you have a link where I can see this? On touchdevices, you should be able to just swipe. I'm just asking these questions here so I can be a hundred percent sure about what you mean.

I ended up just disabling lazy loading for images in Lay Options, and now the images show up correctly on Firefox. I'm kind of confused as to why they didn't show up before because they did show up in other projects. It was just this one project where they didn't show up on Firefox as far as I can tell. I hope this solution works for you.

Yeah, I used display inline and a background color. Right-click your text element in the Gridder and choose Set HTML Class and ID. As HTML class add: mybg Enter this css in "lay options" -> "custom css & html" -> "custom css" .mybg p{ display: inline; background-color: green; } Make sure to turn off the background color that you set in the gridder for the text box as this will not work with that one.

The reason why your submenu wasn't centered on your website is: position absolute elements are positioned relative to their position relative parent. In my CSS above, I chose position fixed. position fixed elements are relative to the document itself. You can read more about position's different values and how they work here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/position And your other concern was you wanted the menus to have the same space between them? The submenu seems to have a bit of a bigger gap right? Maybe you can just play around with your CSS a little bit and for example add a negative top value to the submenu CSS to make this gap smaller.

Thanks @arminunruh, your right. I forgot to change the setting inside the carousel. With these settings its working. But I just found out, that the scroll settings use a different kind of captions and don't center my slides so I get new problems :D I'll look for another solution. Thanks for your advice.
