Problem with lay theme: The style sheet is missing.

Hi! After an automatic update, i have this error message: The style sheet is missing and it's not possible to reactivate the theme. How can i solve this problem?

go to appearance - themes
scroll down, where u see "broken theme" click delete.
now "add theme" - "upload theme" and use this lay.zip:

Hi. I tried this but the theme won't delete. Since this has happened my site has stopped working entirely. Any help appreciated
