marquee and language switch

Hey @arminunruh ,
Unfortunately, the language assignment for the category titles is still not working correctly. In an older version of Laytheme, this worked perfectly, but with the current version it unfortunately doesn’t anymore.
It would be great if this could be fixed.Thank you so much!

@arminunruh Hi Armin, do you know when the qTranslate-X language switcher (set with a shortcode) will be fixed ? Since the last updates, mine is broken.

okay, I actually never used the language switcher as a short code.

So can you tell me what you see exactly? It just doesn't show up or looks weird, or what's the issue? Do you have a link? -

The language switcher shortcode is [qtranslate_language_switcher], and until a month ago, it worked very well. -

When switching the language in the top right corner between German and English, the categories and tags remain in the previously selected language and do not update accordingly.
This affects both the categories and the tags displayed below the project thumbnails.
It would be great if this could be fixed.

are you using qtranslate or polylang?

ah you probably meant polylang?? cause i was only working on this with qtranslate in mind.

I'm actually using qTranslate, and unfortunately the category names are still not being translated. Hopefully this will be fixed in one of the next updates. Thanks for looking into it -

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into

- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
