Search "X" close icon is always visible even though Search is disabled
-
I'm having a strange issue with the Search close ("X") icon.
The "X" close icon is always visible, even though I have never enabled the Search feature (or at least I don't think I have). I expected no search-related UI to appear.
Things I've already checked:- Search is not enabled (as far as I can tell).
- I've cleared the browser cache.
- I've disabled custom code to make sure it's not caused by my CSS.
- The issue is still there.
You can see the persistent "X" in the top-right corner of the site:

Has anyone experienced this before? Is this a bug, or is there a setting I'm missing?
I'm using the latest version of LayTheme.
Thanks!
