Update: my idea for a fixed header with multiple rows, each having a unique #id that can be hidden/shown depending on the page is a suitable solution for my needs for now.

Scroll slider - functions/features -
Scroll slider - functions/featuresThis works, but it's for the entire site. Let's say for instance I have 5 different projects that I want to use the scroll slider on. Each needs to have a different fixed header to introduce the project (or at least to contain a link to an overlay). That's what I'm trying to achieve.
Could it be possible to create a fixed header with 5 rows, each row has a specific CSS #id and then hide/show the relevant rows depending on the page?

Scroll slider - functions/featuresI am also desperate for the ability to have a fixed element above the others.

How to have a news / blog sectionThanks for your response, I will keep thinking about a way to make it work, as I would like to use the theme for the rest of my site. Perhaps I'll have a separate WordPress installation for the news section and try to make it look similar.
One suggestion for you: I'm not sure whether it is possible, but an easy solution would be to have an option to display category pages as automatically generated layouts (a basic grid) that could have pagination. That way people could have a "news" category, and its category page would function very similarly to a blog.
If you ever come out with the Gridder plugin that can be used with other designs I will definitely buy that!

How to have a news / blog sectionThis is a great theme with a lot of possibilities, however I am struggling to find a way to create a "news" or blog type section. This is really important for my site. I have considered using a "news" category, but then you must manually add new entries to the category grid. Also there doesn't seem to be a way to have multiple pages, so let's say after listing 10 news projects I would need a new page, otherwise it would start taking too long to load. I would be happy if the layout was consistent, like each news project thumbnail takes up three columns and they are in a basic grid. Does this make sense and does anyone have any suggestions?
