  • Video Thumbnail Behaviour problem
    silly.berlinS silly.berlin

    @VictorR said in Video Thumbnail Behaviour problem:

    Hello Victor, I had the same problem since the last update until now.
    Armin solves it just today and released a new update with a fix (4.4.3).
    Try that, it should work fine again.
    Greetings

    Even if I'm turning off all the costume code, still no thumb movements. I've no ideas anymore, how to approach and fix.

    Hello @arminunruh, could give me a hint how to find out where I've markup issues? I still don't know how to get the thumbs moving again.
    Thx a lot!

    @arminunruh Thank you a lot for looking into this. Is there an online tool to test where I've markup issues? Tbh I'm really not a programmer and build our custom code by "try and error", not knowing what I'm doing ;)

    So I understood, that there is a problem on our end, not with the update. That's good to know. I actually don't know how to clean my cache. I hadn't any third party cache related plugins installed.

    I cleaned the Java error, but that wouldn't fix my problem. There is still no thumb-movement.

    @timperangel No solution yet. I'll let you know.

  • Fade in after lazy load possible?
    silly.berlinS silly.berlin

    Heyhey,
    I wonder, how to fade in my thumbs after loading. silly.berlin Is that solvable with CSS only by addressing the right classes? Which would that be? "ls-is-cached", "lazyloaded" or "loaded"...
    Thank you :)

  • Prev/next project buttons show only a few projects
    silly.berlinS silly.berlin

    Hey there,
    I just realized, that the previous and next project buttons on my page (found in every project in the footer) don't include all the project showcased on the website, but only circles through a few. Which projects are shown variates, depending on what the initial project was. I would prefer, that all the projects would be shown, one after another.

    Anybody experienced that "bug" already and can help to solve the problem?
    Thank you

  • Issues with div following mousemove while scrolling.
    silly.berlinS silly.berlin

    Solved it.
    My mistake was:

    <style>
    #sillydot { position: absolute; };
    </style>

    <script>
    jQuery(document).mousemove(function(e) { jQuery('#sillydot').css({
    "left": e.pageX,
    "top": e.pageY,

    }); });
    </script>

    It should be:

    <style>
    #sillydot { position: fixed; };
    </style>

    <script>
    jQuery(document).mousemove(function(e) { jQuery('#sillydot').css({
    "left": e.clientX,
    "top": e.clientY,

    }); });
    </script>

  • Issues with div following mousemove while scrolling.
    silly.berlinS silly.berlin

    Hey there,
    My programming skills are very limited (learning by googling). Now I need your help :)

    I'm trying to make a DIV following my mouse (www.silly.berlin). So far so simple:

    <div id="sillydot"></div>
    <style>
    transform: translateX(-50%) translateY(-50%);
    position: absolute;
    display: block;
    background-color: #000;
    width: 1.25vw;
    height: 1.25vw;
    user-select: none;
    pointer-events: none;
    </style>
    <script>
    jQuery(document).ready(function() {
    jQuery("*").css( 'cursor', 'none' );
    jQuery("#sillydot").css( 'pointer-events', 'none' );
    jQuery(document).mousemove(function(e) {
    jQuery('#sillydot').css({
    "left": e.pageX,
    "top": e.pageY,
    "z-index": "9999",
    });
    });
    });
    <script>

    At the moment I'm trying to fix a problem which occurs when I'm scrolling my page. The DIV is scrolling with the content until I move my mouse again, then it jumps back into position. I guess I've to subtract the scrolled distance somehow. But how?

    Thanks for helping!

  • thumbnail stacks planned?
    silly.berlinS silly.berlin

    Hey there,
    thanks for the amazing work on laytheme. It's fun to use so far!

    I wonder if there is thumbnail stacks in the planning, I remember reading something about that topic in the forum, but cannot find the discussion anymore (similar to but more static as www.yannicpoepperling.de). Is there an example where somebody did stacks already with laytheme?

  • Carousel shows ugly pixel stripe of previous Image.
    silly.berlinS silly.berlin

    Thank you!

    I don't know if there is a connection, between that problem and another one I just recognized. Even it's minor, I want to let you know and ask if there is an easy solution to that. On my landing page (www.silly.berlin) I chose your zoom effect on the thumbnails. In various browser sizes the thumbnail edges are flickering while hovering. Seems like the thumbnail wraps are somehow not keeping their size perfectly. It's almost not visible and not affecting all of the thumbs – best visible at the bottom edge. Let me know if you've heard about it :)

    Cheers
