Hej People,

I created a form for a clients website.
As in the documentation suggested I used the plugin Forminator.

In the past I used Happy Forms but it seems not to work anymore on Laytheme. (If I submit the form it just shows JSON Code and the information is not send.)

When I embed the form via Shortcode it just doesn’t show up. If I am logged in, I’ll get a link “Formular bearbeiten” (Edit Form) – if I am in private mode / logged off nothing shows up. It seams not to load at all.

I can find the form in the inspector and the element shows

in html source code it shows

data-forminator-render="0"

Ajax is aktivated, i tried to deactivate it (and in the form as well) – didn’t help. Caches are cleaned, tried to Enable Content Filter. Deactivated and switched cookie banners.

I enabled Smart Loading for HTML and Shortcode Elements, as I need this for some check out form.

Has anybody an idea / any suggestions?

yes, i use it on several pages.

you just create the pages, finalise them and instead of clicking the + you type in the page title in the field (usually after you typed in the first letters the page title pops up)

you can duplicate the page, switch languages, translate it and connect it afterwards – thats how I do it.

thanks for the response. Option 1 workes technically, as i tested it before. sadly this won’t work for the client, as he needs a custom phone version.

The desktop layout of the planned page is to complex for the mobile version and the mobile version to boring for desktop.

Option 2 would show no form in desktop, or do I misunderstood? It is crucial, to have the form in both layouts.

I want to embed a checkout form on a client’s website. On the desktop version, it works perfectly using the provided code. It also works in mobile mode as long as I don’t create a separate mobile version of the site.

However, once I create a dedicated mobile version—which is necessary since most users visit the site on mobile—the form no longer loads (or is not displayed).

Where is my mistake in thinking?

in future i might switch to qTranslate-XT but now keep using WP Fastest Cache (or do you see any issues?

I can not activate layout cache. the checkbox is gray and not clickable.

On an artist portfolio i was working on I used the site title with some blend effects only on the front page. it is hidden on all other pages.

now the clients want to have buttons on the front page but of course these are behind and non clickable as the site title ist big bold and centered.

i tried different things to put the buttons in front of the site title. The only thing working for me was setting the site title to z-index -9999. But of course now the blend effects don’t show anymore as the title is behind all page elements. When ever i create a class for the buttons or row with an z-index higher than the page title it is not working out. maybe because the whole layout is set to be behind the site title? Do you have any ideas how to make that work?

with the help of a friend I managed to solve the problem. it was an issue between the cookie-plugin (complianz) and laytheme.

we figured it out now and everything works like a charme.

You may have a recommendation for a better plugin?

But if type in browser www.z20.ch (without de or en) an page opens, which shouldn't exist (you may have to open it in inkognito mode).

I am using a caching plugin and tried to redirect the front page. maybe its not a laytheme issue, but wordpress / plugin / or even hosting?
